below is the outdoor maternity sessions
The best time to schedule is 27 weeks to 32 weeks. But i also want you to feel comfortable and confident, so do whatever makes you happy! (My first maternity session was at 20 weeks and my last was 38 weeks)
We are requiring $50 retainer deposits for your session. Retainers are non-refundable unless your baby was born early.
Session is priced for the expectant mom alone. I found it to be the fairest method to pricing families. think of it like a "sitting fee".
I find 30 minutes to be plenty of time to document your pregnancy as long as you have two outfits or less and 5 family members or less.
NLP offers one background per session..
Turn around time is 48 hours. All images are "base edited" (includes color and exposure correction) and electronically delivered without copyright. Additional editing thru photoshop has an additional fee, depending on the picture and what is being corrected. Turn around time for extra edits depends on the workload request.
You can print through us, as we do not mark up our print costs, or you can download them and print them wherever you choose.
Tardiness results in the time you’re late being added to your session as the late fee. When you are late, you throw off our whole day’s schedule and we will have to apologize to our client scheduled after you by giving them a discount for their understanding for waiting. For instance, if you are 5 minutes late, $10 will be added to your session. Please let me know as soon as possible when you will be late. Do not let me know after your session has “begun” to inform me you will be late. We are understanding things happen but we hope you are understanding that we are a business and tardiness drastically affects the rest of our day.
In our outside location, we do NOT allow balloons, confetti or smoke bombs. It is private property and the land owner sells her fruit for a living and cannot have contamination.
Yes, we have an after-hours fee. That is because like regular hardworking Americans, we work from 9am to 5pm. We can and will work after 5pm, but it comes at an additional hassle to us, but mainly to me (Nicole). You see, I am the primary caretaker of my children and am not blessed with family to help me. So, I have to hire a sitter or call in a favor that would usually require me having to buy something. So the after-hours fee covers additional expenses. And let's be real - I am a business. And when someone wants me to do extra, just like in corporate America, it costs extra. I find this to be fair.
You guys! It is Miami. It is hot pretty much every single day of the year, minus a few random freezing days that catch us by surprise. So, take that into consideration when scheduling. We will go out at 1pm to photograph you and your family, but it WILL be hot. Bring water. Wear clothes that don't immediately show sweat stains. Bring bug repellent. I bring bug repellent but there is never too much. Mosquitoes love Miami. Don't believe me? Stand outside in the shade for a few minutes an find a bunch of mosquito bites.
